Beautifully kept family-run motel in a tranquil, leafy setting. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, going the extra mile and we felt at home straight away. All village shops, food places, marina, are right outside the front gate but there's no traffic sound because it's set well back from the road up a short drive. The units are well appointed with parking right outside the door. Highly recommend.

Loved our one night stay there with such a nice, quiet pretty surroundings. Nice clean room such a comfy bed. Best sleep I’ve had in a long time ... Very friendly, helpful owners. Would recommend to anyone. Close to takeaways and cafes.

Just couldn't have asked for more, in every respect. Fresh coffee and muffins at the gate and fresh fish n' chips across the road. Hosts who take friendliness and helpfulness to the next level and make discounted boat trip bookings for you. Really clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation in idyllic surroundings which we were able to share with our dog. It really doesn't get much better than this.

Beautiful setting and fabulous rooms. Extremely high quality fixtures and fittings. Bed comfortable and excellent bedding. Owners friendly and very helpful. We love it and will return. Local restaurant was excellent. So close to all shops and cafes.

Our group of 7 styed here on Saturday night enroute to walk the Nydia Track. The owners were welcoming, really helpful and storing our luggage while we were on the walk. A lovely place to stay.

Absolutely loved the stop here on our South Island holiday. Our studio unit was modern, comfy, quiet, and nestled in beautiful green surroundings, also a short walk to shops and restaurants. A very friendly owner & also accommodated us to arrive early so hubby could go fishing! Hope to return and stay longer next time.

The room and the entire property is really clean, cosy and almost like living in a lush micro forest. I say Havelock is the best central place to venture out from and explore both the Picton and Nelson region. Queen Charlotte track and drive and all the other tracks and sounds are in comfortable reach.
