MOTEL POLICIES

Once you have made a confirmed reservation with us, rooms are held for your exclusive occupation and are guaranteed. Due to the nature of our business we apply the following policies, as cancellations, damage to rooms and slow or non-payment of accounts affect us significantly.

Reservation confirmations

To confirm a reservation we require a current credit card number, plus expiry date and CVV number as a guarantee. No charges will be made against the card unless a deposit is required, or cancellation/non arrival fees arise. If a credit card is not available as a guarantee, then 25% of the total cost of the reservation (the deposit) must be paid in cash or by electronic transfer of funds into our bank account: Please contact us for details.

Changes to reservation term

Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of units. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in refund unless the management approve and are able to re-let the accommodation.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

The guest can cancel free of charge until 2 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 2 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation. Cancellation of significant bookings must be notified no later than 14 days prior to the expected date of arrival. Any cancellation fee charged will be refunded if we are able to re-let the unit(s).

Significant Bookings

A deposit of 25% of the total reservation cost will be required to secure the booking. The deposit will be charged at the time of booking.

A significant booking is defined as one or more of the following:

  1. A booking of 3 nights or more
  2. A booking of 3 units or more
  3. Any booking exceeding $500 total reservation cost

Tariffs

All rates include Goods and Services Tax (GST). Seasonal/Peak and minimum stay/rates may apply. Unit tariffs are based on 2 guests per unit. Extra persons are charged at $17.00 per child (16 & under) per night and $20 per adult per night. Please note that babies under 1 year old are free of charge. We reserve the right to alter our rates at any time to meet financial circumstances beyond our control.

Check in/Check Out

Check-in is available from 2.00pm and check-out is by 10.00am on departure date. We will accommodate both early check-in and late check-out requests whenever possible.

Damage to Property

Any damage, other than accepted wear and tear, will be charged as the lessor of the following:

  1. Total cost of repairs/replacement of property including loss of income from closing the unit
  2. Total cost of insurance excess and additional costs (loss of income from closing unit)
